Product information

All the information regarding Airshield Glazing panels.
What is an AirShield Glazing panel?
AirShield Glazing panels are a solution to address issues with single glazed windows across the UK. The panels are manufactured to size according your windows, to create an insulating air pocket between your single glazed window and the panels. This solves the most common issues related to lack of insulation, noise and condensation.

The panels are crafted with precision and feature a 3mm thick acrylic panel that does not influence the clarity of your windows, and seamlessly integrate in your home. You won't notice it's there!
How does it work?
Once you install AirShield Glazing panels to your windows, these will create an air-gap between the two parts to provide a superior level of insulation in your single glazed windows.
What are the benefits?
AirShield Glazing panels function by capturing air between the window glaze and the panel, thereby boosting insulation. This leads to warmer windows and homes, decreased external noise, and less condensation buildup.
How much does it cost?
We priced AirShield Glazing panels based on square metre so you pay only what you need. The cost is £180/sqm. For example, a regular 60x120cm sash window panel will cost you about £130 inc VAT; a large bay window will be between £500-650, and a 2-bedroom flat £1800-2100. These are approximate figures, please use our tool to get your exact quote - for free! Click here.
Do I need to do all the windows in my home?
To benefit from the maximum level of insulation it is recommended to fit AirShield Glazing panels in every single room of your home. However, if you'd like to try the product before committing to all windows, you can order enough panels to cover the window in your coldest or noisiest room, to see if it matches your expectations.
Can I install Airshield Glazing panels in my home?
You can install AirShield Glazing in any home with single glazed windows to benefit from maximum insulation.
Do I need to hire a professional?
AirShield Glazing panels are designed to be easily installed by anybody. You can measure and fit your windows by yourself, check our tutorials - it's as easy as it looks! Click here.

Our panels are compatible with most single glazed windows.
What type of windows are compatible with AirShield Glazing panels?

What are the minimum requirements for fitting AirShield Glazing panels?

Most single glazed windows have a standard 15-20mm gap which perfectly suits our panels. However, should your windows have a smaller gap, a very affordable solution is replacing the hardware. Check out options here.

How to measure

Measuring has never been easier, you can do it yourself with regular tools.
Can I measure the windows myself?
Yes, you can measure your windows yourself and import the measurements through our website page. You will have to measure each window panel individually, for both width and height. Check out our handy guide here.
Do I need special tools?
No, you only need require a measuring tape or a laser measuring gun. Both options will allow you to provide accurate results to upload on our website. Unsure what to use? Check our our options here.
What if there is not enough gap?
In case the distance between your window panel and hardware mechanism is lower than 13mm, you will have to replace these with much narrower options to allow the installation. Don't worry, the alternative options match with traditional design and are very affordable. Check our list here.
Is there any margin for error?
Although precise outcomes are preferred, please be assured that there exists a margin of error ranging from 2 to 5mm for each panel. This variation is attributed to the pliability of the foam material utilised to seal the frame surrounding your window.
Any advice on measuring?
Either you use a regular tape or a laser tape, make sure you keep it in a straight line between one side and the other of your window. It's a good idea to have someone else check your measurements to make sure you both get the same results. For more tips on how to measure, check out our guide here.
