Step by step instructions on how to install panels correctly
Fitting your AirShield Glazing panels couldn't be easier. You don't require any specific tools from what you already have at home, as they simply slide in and pushed into your existing windows.
STEP 1
Clean your windows
Before you begin the installation process, give your windows a good clean - both the glass and the edges where the panels will be places. This way, you will eliminate any debris that might get stuck in between your window and the AirShield Glazing panels.
STEP 2
Peel off the protective film from the back side
Before fitting the AirShield Glazing panel, remove the protective film from the back side of the panel. The back side is the one where you can see the aluminium frame; the front side is the one with the plexiglass panel only.
STEP 3
Insert the panel in the bottom side of your window
Slide the AirShield Glazing panel to the bottom edge of your window making sure all edges and corners are perfectly in place.
STEP 4
Insert the rest of the panel by pushing on edges and corners
Work along the way up by pushing the edges and the corners inside your window frame, until all side are perfectly in place.
STEP 5
Use a butter knife if edges don't slide in
Some edges might be hard to be pushed by hand. Don't worry, simply use a kitchen knife to slide the foam inside your window casements.
STEP 6
Peel off front side, done
Once the panel is perfectly in place, peel off the protective film from the front side to reveal your window. Done, the panel is now in its position and doesn't require any further actions.
STEP 7
Repeat for other windows
Repeat the same steps with all your windows and the AirShield Glazing panels to complete the installation in your home.
